Shipping weight on characteristics

Hello,

I am testing the Hikashop to see if it suits my needs.

Something I found in the manual is the fact it needs to have a shipping weight in every characteristic.

You need to know that I have a color list of fabrics that is 60 items.

I understand dat I need to fill the weight in every of these options. This is too much work.
We have different types of fabrics. So at this moment i am looking at 180 times shipping weight.

Then I have 55 fabrics with 6 options. (330 times)

Is there an easier way to do this?

By default your vairants should have the same values as the main product.
Which version of HikaShop do you have ?

Thank you for the fast reply.

I have the starter version: 2.0.0

1. I checked without opening managementvariant button.
shipping is 0 gram

2. After opening management variant without changing the weight.
shipping is 0 gram

3. after management variant changing all values to 60 grams it worked.

Glad to see you found the solution
Indeed, your product need to have a specific weight before generating the variants.
So I hope you didn't created too much variants before specifying the weight.
By the way, if you need to update a date on many product in one shot you can use the csv import and export option/
