Payment methods and virtual products

Hello. I would like to sell virtual products and ordinary products. I have 2 payment methods: paypal and collect on delivery. I would like to have both options for ordinary products and only paypal for vritual products. I've been searching on your forums, but didn't find anything similar. Is this possible?

Can a developer say something about this please? just so i know if it is possible or should i start looking for some other solutions. thanks

I think that you'll find your answer there :

You can't restrict payment methods by product.
However, you can restrict payment methods by shipping methods and restrict manual shipping methods by product weight/volume. That way, you could indirectly display or not payment methods based on the products in the cart.
