Shipping Configuration - Pre Sales Question

Hi all

My client will be buying Hika Shop, partly so that we can avoid customers having to register, partly because we need options, and party because he should pay for such a great cart.
He has asked me about shipping charges though as his needs are a little complicated, so I wonder if anyone can let me know if this configuration is possible: (I don't need to know how, I'll try and work it out for myself).

He sells Electric Bikes. If someone buys one or more bikes, the total shipping cost of the entire order is £25.00 regardless of what else they buy.
If someone buys a bike battery, each one costs £10 to ship, but following the rule above means that if they've bought a bike, there's no cost for shipping any amount of batteries.
He also sells accessories. Every accessory costs £2.50 to ship, but again we follow the first rule too, so buying a bike means accessories are shipped free.

I think I've made that clear, but I have a feeling I could spend hours trying to configure the shipping like that, so I'm asking first if it can be done. If not, it isn't a deal-breaker, but I would like to at least be able to set a maximum cost of shipping at £25.

Thanks
Steve

Hi Steve,

I think that you should maybe :
- Use the "Use the prices per product" option of your manual shipping method.
- Set a price for each products of your category through the "Shipping prices" tab of each product's page

Hope this will help you.
