Help me save the last strand of hair on my head  - taxes are driving me crazy....

I'm trying to add a tax zone based on the province that the customer is buying from.

I cannot get the tax to show in the cart when I change the address. The only ones that work are the provinces that are in the default zone (Canada - 13%).

I have a zone called (Canada - 5%). I add the provinces that should pay 5% in this zone and the tax rate of 5%.

What could I be doing wrong please? Thanks!!

Hello !

Can you show me screenshots of how did you configured your tax and a link to your website for testing purpose :) ?

I sent you the login and URL privately.

To explain a bit more, I have different provinces with different taxes. I'm trying to set it up so that if the user is in a specific province they pay a certain tax.

For example, in Ontario, Newfoundland and New Brunswick they would pay 13%, in Alberta, Nunavut, Yukon they pay 5%, in Nova Scotia they pay 15%, etc... I guess you get the idea :)

BIG thanks in advance!!

Ok, so I think that the problem is coming from the fact that all the of your product's Tax category options are equals to "default tax category".

I have set all of your taxes to the "default tax category" can you test it again ?

I have set up a Quebec-based online shop that collects the appropriate taxes depending on which province the sale is coming from. It also collects a seperate tax (actually none) from US sales.
You can pm me if you have more questions.

Hello,

1. Did you set the Tax category option to "default tax category" through your products configuration page ?

2. Did you set the Tax category option to "default tax category" through your taxes configuration page ?

3. Can you explain your problem a little more through screenshots for example ?

Thanks.
