Well this is my second time trying to write this help topic. I previewed the first one, and click cancel trying to go back and edit it... turns out it doesn't work like that. Frustrating..

Im making a large online store with 3000+ items, hopefully over 6000+.

Adding in items by hand has been taking for ever. I need to upload bulk using CSV.

Nicolas has been trying to help me, but its still not making sense. I was able to upload a few at a time using the "Import with text box"

I copied and pasted small strings, under a heading that Nicolas helped me with. (Thank you!)

product_code,product_name,product_description,price_value,product_quantity,product_manufacturer_id,images

So I know how to do a few at a time using the text box.

But I would like to now upload the remainder of items. Attached is a small file, of 20 or less items that i thought would be good to start with.

Its partially my total lack of understanding of Excell and Hikashop, as well as half knowing what i need to do, but trying to find the right buttons to do it..

So I moved the columns around on my spreadsheet. Now, I know that there needs to be commas between each column.

is there a way to save it as a .csv and have the computer input commas in for me? I tried to save as .csv and it said that "this document contains
formatting or content that cannont be saved in the Text CSV file format."

Is there a way to have commas added after selected cells / columns?

is what im doing correct? or am I right out to lunch. I think that im starting to understand...

thanks!

And thank you again Nicolas!!

Edit, I'm dumb. 100% my lack of understanding about what the programs im trying to use. I organized the files i had nicely under the correct columns. I saved it as .csv, but it never changed its format look. If i would have just looked at the file using microsoft word or what not, i would have seen that it was good to go.
