Hi,

HikaShop Version: 2.0 (Business)
Joomla: 2.5.8

Whilst I am still 'digging' into all the possibilities of Hikashop Business I wanted to get an answer to this as early on as possible...

Our 'bricks and mortar' business has 'account customers' - we want to be able to offer a number of options in terms of checking out and making payment.

1) Normal credit/card payment in full - will be covered by our merchant / payment gateway provider so not an issue

2) Take a deposit i.e. GBP 100.00 or a % of the total Cart Value with the the invoice showing total Cart Value but recording the deposit as paid. We would then adjust the users account on other office systems. The total sale value and the actual payment value would then be recorded within HikaShop.

3) Record the total cart value as an order, generate the full value invoice, but with payment type 'add to account'.

What would be brilliant would be if we could add a custom field (admin only) to the hikashop_user table such as 'account_status' with a number of options: 'APPROVED','PENDING','HOLD','NONE'

Depending on the Account Status recorded in the field above, the methods of payment would be displayed accordingly.

If there is no way as yet to achieve the above perhaps their is a way to achieve some of the functionality?

Many thanks

Hi there,

Looks like you want to so some huge customizations :)
First of all, i'm not sure to understand, will the cleint pay the real price minus the account or not?
I yes, I think you may do something with some php skills and the credit card payment plugin. You can for example store the credit card data use some trigger to pay the rest of the amount when changing the order status.
In every case this will require some coding so maybe you should ask for a commercial job.
