Custom fields in the backend

Did a quick search but didn't find what I was looking for so here goes.

Have Hikashop Business and I'm in the process of setting up a store with a number of articles where most of them have specific properties. To be able to show that in the frontend I have to set up a large number of custom fields. Correct?

I have already set up a number of these custom fields for ONE category but now when I'm concentrating on another category I see that all these fields are displayed at the bottom of the page in the backend even though I have set them to another category. This is going to be really complicated to fill in when I'm gonna have like 125 - 150 separate custom fields.

Never mind, it solved itself by me saving the product once in the category it belonged. Didn't think about that in the beginning.
