Hi! I have been working on this ~7 hours summary and I still can't get how to that.

I need my categories to be displayed by "categories on 1 & 2 level" default modules in tree-like view like this :
-cat1
-cat2
-cat3
-etc

But I can't get it done. I have been trying many variations and efforts, but I failed. I've been reading documentation but didn't find anything suitable.

Could you please describe me step by step how do get it done from the very beginning. I badly need it, since the filter system doesn't offer a single option for SEO I need this categories.

Hi,

Are you using the default "Categories on 1 level" module ?
You can see the parameters of this module on our demo website to configure it like the demo one.
demo.hikashop.com/administrator

Thank you.
I got a next question. Is there a way of mass adding the products to the categories? I now have ~500 products and I need to add them all to categories according to 1 parameter.

Do I have to add each product 1 by 1 or is there an easier way?

I set up everything the way I needed, except one thing:
domsveta.by/kaategorii - here I have the module on the right, what is ok. But on the mainbody of the page I have the categories.
Is there a way to list all the products on this page (regardless of what category they are) and when click on the category on the right - the products of the selected category will be shown.

On the products listing, you can use the "copy" button to duplicate your products and just change what you want in the copies.

The link you gave does not work.

Well. Now everything works. But still one single thing disturbs me.
I have created 2 categories - Cars and Bikes. Created menu items (of "Hikashop Categories Listing type") and assigned a "parent menu" for them - my main Product Listing catalogue with filters.
So now i have a pop-out menu with my 2 categories (domsveta.by - 2nd menu item)

The urls for them from that pop-outs are just the way I need them to be :

domsveta.by/catalogue/category-name

And then I created a module on the left with the list of all the categories. domsveta.by/catalogue (top left)

But in this module the urls to the categories are :
domsveta.by/filter/category/id

Even despite the fact, that there is no mention about the "filter" alias in my back-end. There was, but I've changed it to the other value, but the urls to the filters didnt change anyway.

I can give you explaining screenshots in order to understand better.

Hi,

Again, the links you provided do no work. and I couldn't find any menu on your website domsveta.by with a categories listing module on the top left position.
More than screenshots, if you could give valid links, that would be a good start :)

Well. I just want the URLS from this module (Categories on 1 level) to be the same as the Menu Items that I created.

Please visit the site domsveta.by, drag the mouse cursor to the 2nd menu item "Каталог" and you'll see a pop-out small-menu with list of categories. The type of the menu items are "categories listing" and I selected an alias for them.

But in the page domsveta.by/katalog (if you click on the "Каталог" menu), on the left - there's a module called "Категории" - this is my "Categories" module. It shows the categories i have. But the links to them is

domsveta.by/katalog/id-

And also, when you access the category from the module, the breadcrumbs will show just "Главная > Каталог" without showing me the name of the category I've accessed.

Well. All I need is simply to make the urls and breadcrumbs to be just like at your demo site - when you both access the category from the Main Menu Item or from the Module - you are put on the same page with same URLS and shown breadcrumbs, while on my site some stuff is going on.

I hope I fully described my point.
Will really appreciate the help. Since my site is almost ready and I've hired SEO agency to do the stuff, but they can't since the categories are not logical and SEO-friendly.

Well. The solution was easier than I could ever imagine.
I just created a "Custom HTML" module and just fill in the URLS and Information I needed and everything's perfect now:)
