Hi, I have read this post regarding the subject and it touched on what i needed but wasn't quite the same, and I couldn't find any other post about the subject.

I am selling mattresses with bases, the customer needs to choose the size of the mattress, then the size of the base.

The price of the base changes depending on the size of the mattress,

Product Page

Choose mattress

dropdown 1

What size mattress? double mattress - 300
queen mattress - 350

dropdown 2

do you want a base? Yes
No

Dropdown 1 is straightforward, I just added the characteristic..

Dropdown 2 If I use a characteristic here I can only have one price if they choose the base. I would like the "yes" PRICE to change depending on what mattress was

Hi,

You can use a characteristic and you would have to set the price for each combination.
HikaShop would create all possibilities of combinations :
300 - yes
300 - no
350 - yes
350 - no

So you can set different prices for each combination.

After that, HikaMarket front-end does not allow to edit the characteristics like in the backend. We are working on this feature in order to propose a new way of characteristics management (easier and faster).
Hope it would be ready soon !
