Hello,
Can someone please help me and tell my why the 2nd address line at checkout does not show up when I go to the backend to print out the customers invoice. I have the 2nd address line set up for apt/suite numbers which is important when shipping, but I noticed in the backend the 2nd address line only shows up on the billing and shipping on the backend, but when I go to print the invoice from the backend, the 2nd address line is not showing up in the invoice. It also does not show up in the email confirmation the customer receives after placing the order. I get calls from customers saying they put their suite # in, but it does not appear on their order email receipt. Please advise on how I can get the 2nd address line to appear in the customers order email receipt as well as in the backend when printing the invoice. Thank you.

Hi,

I think that you have to edit the view "address / address_template" and add the entry:
[address_street2} juste before {address_street}

Hi Xavier,

My programmer can't get this to work, on my sites backend invoices still not showing 2nd address line information. I have to physically look on the main order in the backend to see if customer has listed any information in the 2nd address line before I print the invoice. This is a problem if the customer has a suite number they have placed in the 2nd address line, but if it's not showing up in backend invoice that I have printed, I may not notice the suite number and ship out the package without listing the suite number and this will be a problem during package transit. Please help.

Thank you for your time.

The solution given by Xavier is the correct one. There is no other solution.
If it doesn't work for you, it means that you're not editing the view file for the correct template. Please make sure that you're editing the view file for your backend template and not another one and you will see the change on your backend.
