I am wondering how to configure the User Control Panel for a user? I have a menu item, with a Menu Item Type of "User Control Panel" from Hikashop. I don't see any documentation on this.

I would like to know how to hide sections such as the Affiliate Program, and Wishlists.

In addition, editing Account Details should only allow to modify the same fields that are configured in Registration. Its seems many other Joomla fields are added in the current setup.

Thanks.

Hi,

If you want to disable an option like wishlists you'll have to do it through "Hikashop->System->Configuration->Display" with the "Display 'Add to wishlist' button" option

Hi,

I was able to remove Wishlists from the User Control Panel by changing Enable the wishlists to No.

However, how do I disable the Affiliates in this same manner, and how do I align the Account Information in the User Control Panel with that of Hikashop registration?

Thanks.

Hi,

You can edit the view "user / cpanel" and add the line:

if($oneButton['text'] == 'Affiliate') continue;
After:
foreach($this->buttons as $oneButton){

My wishlist is still showing on the user control panel even after having the display set to no. How do I remove the wishlist from the user control panel?

"Hikashop->System->Configuration->Display" with the "Display 'Add to wishlist' button" option

That option is to remove the add to wishlist button on the product page.
If you don't want the wishlist management menu in the control panel you need to turn off the "Enable the wishlists" option of the configuration
