Hello, I am new HikaShop. I have HikaShop Business 2.0.

I have set up a few categories, and added a couple products for one of the categories. I set up a Categories Listing Menu Item. When I go to the page for that Category Menu, I see my categories listed, and when I click on the category that has my two products, it takes me to a page that shows the two products with picture, price, product name and code and 'Choose Options' box. When I click on either the 'choose options' or the linked product name, it takes me to a completely blank page.

Under Menu I set up a Product Page menu item, and associated it to one of my products. The menu items appears in my nav menu, but when I click it, it pulls up a completely blank page. When I look at the source code for the blank page there is nothing on it. The page is totally blank, no template header, nav menu, footer -totally Blank. Please help!!

Hi there,

Could you try to disable the sef option in Hikashop (System>Configuration>Features) and in the Jomla main configuration to see if it solves the problem?

Thank you, but disabling the SEF urls in Joomla Global and Hikashop configs did not resolve the problem. Product page is still blank.

Hi,

When accessing to the product listing
www.petrockz.net/index.php/shop-online/bonez-category
I see some links which redirect to a "500 error".

Could you try with the Joomla debug mode activated ?

Thanks Jerome, I've just been testing with Eliot's suggestion of disabling SEF urls, so that is likely what was going on with the 505 error. I've set the Joomla debug mode and am getting an allowed memory size message, so I'm talking with my server IT person to see what I can do with that.

I resolved this problem, but only by uninstalling Hikashop, deleting the hikashop tables from the database, and re-installing it. I had only installed two test products, so this wasn't too bad, but I sure hope it keeps working properly from here on out.
