show an item for a limited period.

Is it possible to show an item for a limited period?
Just as it is with articles in Joomler.
For example, you put a product to be shown from 01.02. 2013 to 25.03.2013.
I will use it on discounts products ....

Sure you'll just have to use the "Product available from/until" option of your product page.

This is not yet possible with Hikashop. You have to unpublish the product.
However it's a good idea and we'll try implement it as an option.
If you have some php skill you can edit your view to add a check in php but it wont be especially convenient (like if you have 10 products per page and 2 are not available anymore, you will only have 8 products on this page).

My thought was: there is no possibility of a discount menu in hikashop.
I would build a regular menu and call the "Sale".
Copy products which,
Make a discount on the new products,
Time Limit their viewing


I'll wait until there is opportunity time limit or discount menu ......
