Hi

I Use hikashop bussines for event booking, how I can do in hikashop that payment of an amount in reserve and pay the rest in cash?
For example if an event costs 120€, which will pay 105€ online booking, and the rest in cash

Thanks

Hi,

You can use that plugin:
www.hikashop.com/media/kunena/attachment...hikashop_deposit.zip
You first need to create a custom field of the table "product" via the menu Display->Custom fields with the column name "deposit".
Then, install and enable the plugin above.
Finally, in each product edition page, enter the percentage of the deposit you want in the custom field that you created.

That will display and use the deposit price in the cart/checkout/invoice instead of the full price.
So you might also want to modify some texts to take that into account:
www.hikashop.com/en/download/languages.html#modify
Or even edit so of the view files via the menu Display->Views.

Hi
I add de custom field and intall the plugin.
I've been testing and work fine the price change, but now in the list of orders appears as unit price 0€, and also confirmation email aparace to 0€. If I disable the plugin, reappears right price.

What am I doing wrong?

Is there any way to see the amount that still to pay?

Regards

I tried on our end but cannot reproduce the problem.

It's probably something related to the way you configured your product. With characteristics ? Options ? Custom item fields ?
Maybe if you could give a FTP and backend access that would help us understand the problem.
Normally, the price of the deposit should display there.
You won't be able to see the amount left to pay with the way the plugin is done.

I fix it, there was an error in product configuration.

Is there any way to see the deposit price in checkout process?
Is there any way to see in the backend the amount pending payment?

Thanks a lot!

Unfortunately, that is not stored so you can't display it easily. You would have to edit the different views and recalculate the full total/pending amount.

Hi,

The hikashop_deposit plugin just accept a percentage.

If you want a fixed value, you have to implement a new plugin based on the code of the deposit one.
It will require some PHP and development skills.
