Hikashop Error "No shipping method found"

Hello!

I'm setting up a HikaShop and doing some testing I found that I get a "No shipping method found" error at the first stage of the checkout. I searched the forums but the problems others have had haven't solved mine.

I have the CanadaPost plugin enabled and filled in so I think I'm missing something simple somewhere that is forcing the error.

Can anyone assist me in this problem?

1. Can you follow the shipping FAQ step by step, and tell me if it solves your problem.

2. If not, Can you show me some screenshots of your shipping method configuration and checkout (with your delivery address).

Okay,

If I enable manual shipping and make a dummy shipping method, the dummy method appears but nothing from Canada Post does...

Ok, so can you show me some screenshots of your canada Post shipping method configuration and of your checkout (with your delivery address), then I'll maybe be able to reproduce it on my end ?

...I forgot to add product weight.... :S I knew it was something simple I missed... :S


However, I now get a "Error while sending XML to CANADA POST. Error code: -2001. Message: Merchant CPC Id not found on server. " error.

Is this something I have to get a hold of Canada Post for?

This error message is coming when :

1. You didn't put your Merchant id through the "Merchant id" option of the Canada Post shipping plugin configuration page.

2. You entered a false/unexisting Merchant id through the "Merchant id" option.

So if you have set your Merchant id, I think that you should contact Canada Post for this.

Alright,

Canada Post has given me the proper Merchant ID and now I am recieving a new error...

"Error while sending XML to CANADA POST. Error code: -6001. Message: Server is unable to read from database."

Hi,
I tried it with my own Canada post merchant ID and it's working fine, but when a put back your merchant ID I'm giving the 6001 error message.
My advice would be to directly ask to Canada post what is going on by telling them that you are receiving a 6001 error message with your merchant ID.
