I am new to hikashop and Joomla in general, but decided to take the plunge to have a go at my own e-commerce store. I don't know much coding so am thinking the best route would be to get a nice theme or template from one of the premium sites i.e. YOOTheme, RocketTheme, Gavick etc. Has anyone used a theme from any of these suppliers with hikashop? Did you have any particular issues with compatibility between the theme's code and hikashop? Any advice would be appreciated, thank you!

Hi,

For information, HikaShop is compatible with any joomla template. So you can install a joomla template, create your menus and modules as explained in our tutorials and you shouldn't have much css or code to touch unless you want more profound customization.

You can find tutorials for HikaShop on our documentation page:
www.hikashop.com/en/support/documentation.html

Hope this will help you a little :).

Hi minhphan,

I just want to say that I'm using Rockettheme Mercado and I didn't really had any issues as far as I can remember.
Once you start using HikaShop you are going to love it.
Try it you will see.

Good luck with the project.

Cheers,

SG
