Duplicate AusPost Shipping Plugin

Have run into an issue with the AusPost shipping plugin. When shipping International (like New Zealand) they only way to provide tracking is to insure the item. This is easy enough to do with the additional Fee field. The problem is, we have calculated the additional fee for Domestic products, but require a different fee or international. Was wondering if I can either add a International Insurance Fee that is only applied on International Shipping? or I thought if I could duplicate the AusPost Plugin, assign to my international zones and apply the correct fee there this would be ideal.

Have any suggestions? or is there a method of stopping the order on creation for international orders, we can then apply the shipping, notify the customer to complete the order?

Hi Richard,

You can duplicate the shipping method but it requires some php skills to edit the code (2 plugins can't have the same name and so on).
This solution would fit your needs but you have to ask to someone else if you don't have the necessary skills.
If your fees are often similar for domestic shipping you can maybe configure a shipping method which is reacting more or less like Auspost.
It may take a certain time but it's definitely easier.
