Insert thumbnails into the "product listing"

Hello,
I see how to add thumbnail images to the product listings. The client wants to liven things up further by inserting a text blurb with a little bit of description. I am really struggling with that part. Where in the documentation are the instructions?

Hi,

In you menu displaying the product listing, you can change the way the products are displayed.
You can select the option "listing_img_desc" to have the image and a little description.

To edit this view to add/remove what you want, you can go in Display > Views and edit the view "product / show_img_desc".
