Styling questions

HI,
I would like to know how to set up some styling for my fishing fly shop.
See this page:
www.fly-tiers.se/index.php/en/hikashop-m...ategory/30-laxflugor
I have set up two sub categories of products under this one and when I click the Salmon Flies category link in the left menu I get this view to the right.
Fair enough but no matter how I try I can't set up the styling of the links to the sub categories listed on the right main side.
If someone please could help me solve it.
I would also like the sub categories in an unordered list <ul><li></li></ul> if possible.
Which view file is controlling this?
(components/com_hikashop/views/...)

Do you mean to get
Salmon Flies Double (21)
Salmon flies single (31)

To sit on the right?

That is a css thing, adding to your (custom) CSS may solve this

.hikashop_subcategories_listing{
float:right;
}

Don't look at what is and ask 'why?'; look at what isn't and ask 'Why Not!'

No I would like the list of sub categories to be a list like this:

But I also would like the font-size smaller and no numbers showing the number of products in parenthesis.
I have used firebug to see which styles to manipulate in the custom.css but noone seem to have any effect on it.
There is a lft-postcontent rule but this rule is global so I would like a prefix but how do i set this up?

I found the css styling recipe so that part is at least solved.
But where can I change the settings so the categories get listed in a list instead of headers?

Another preferable alternative would be to have the left categories menu working with sub categories as well.
I mean when clicking the Salmon Flies category it would have been good to see the sub categories under the main category.
I have set this up but then the styling of the menu gets lost so that didn't work either.
It must be possible of course but how?

I have solved this the dirty dusty road way by adding styles to the header styling for the div displaying the different sub categories.
I am satisfied sort of...
Still would be good to know how if possible I can change the div listing to list listing.

Hi,

The option to change the listing type is in Display > Content menu/module then in the option you can change the way you display the listing.
Then you can disable the option "Show the number of products", change the "Ordering field" value ...

Ok but I have tried that and that also change the left category menu so it's no good for me to do that.
Better to change the style for the div listing on the right side, but the numbers of products should still be taken away. Haven't founf the correct one of all the menu/modules yet...
I have played around there quite a bit but nothing seem to have any effect. :blink:

I' not following you.

Can you say exactly what you want to change for which category listing on your website ? Then, I can tell you exactly what to do.

If you look at this url:
www.fly-tiers.se/index.php/en/hikashop-m...ategory/30-laxflugor
Then on the main view under the photo there's a list under the Choose variant:
It's the sub categories under the Salmon Flies ctegory.
They are listed as div's not ass a list also they have a vakue of the nummber of products in parenthesis after them.
I want to list them as a list and also to get rid og the number of products.

Have you tried to edit the associated module of the menu 520 ?

If you still can't solve this, thanks to give us a backend access.
