Shiiping rate not being added

Hi all,

I have just gone live on a shop and have noticed that at checkout the shipping is not added.

Not sure why....

Rates are in with product.

It seems there is something awry..

When a customer adds their address, shouldn't it add freight?

It doesn't.

But if you dont anter the Credit card and press next, it displays and adds the freight.

1. Show me how did you configured your shipping method through some screenshots

2. Follow the FAQ and tell me if it works ?

Hi Mohamed, appreciate the reply.

I have atteched the screenshoots.

I double cheched all the products (weights etc, and shipping entries) and refreshed cache. As well as checking the FAQ.

What is happening is that the shipping is not added until after the credit card is entered or the 'next' button is pressed without entery cc details.

Any clues

Hi, any clues on this?

Here are two screen-grabs...

1) at order stage - It shows the address has been entered (and button clicked) but freight is not displayed.
2) Order confirmation email - Displays freight charged

So address is entered but no freight displayed but enter credit card details and process and freight is added (but client does not know until email confirmation is received)





Cant have it that way - i.e. client cannot be charged more than what is displayed at the pay stage.

Any clues greatly appreciated.

Hi,

I don't see any shipping methods selection on your checkout. Please add back the shipping view that you removed from your checkout workflow and that should help.

Hi Nicolas, thanks for reply..

shipping is in workflow (see attached)

I think I might have just fixed it though... seems there may have been two glitches.

1) some of my weights we less than 4 decimal places (in kgs) so after import, they were rendering 0.0000
2) As per the FAQ, I changed all dimension units back to mm.
