No, the product variants have no pricing associated with them.
They should be using the pricing of the main product. Which they do, to an extent, however, multiple variants of different characteristics don't get the discounted pricing when added to an order. The discount only seems to work when you select identical characteristics of the product.
Let me try again.
Product = Bird House
Characteristics
Color = Red / Blue / Green / Etc..
Pricing
Minimum Quantity of 1 = $6
Minimum Quantity of 2 = $5
If they purchase two different variants of the same product (1 red bird house, and 1 green bird house).
I would expect the pricing to use the minimum quantity of 2 and thus it should give them the discounted price of $5.
However, it doesn't do that, the discounted pricing only works if all variations of the product match (meaning to get the discount, you must purchase 2 blue bird houses, or 2 red bird houses). I want the quantity pricing to work across of of the products, regardless of their variations of that particular main product.
