I have a Sale Category setup with a number of subcategories (10%, 20%, 30$, etc) tied in with the badge system. Putting an item in one of these subcategories adds the percentange badge and reduces the price by said percentage.

Now, when I want to create a listing of all the items in all of those subcategories, it gives me other items that are not in any of those "Sale" subcategories ( www.bearstitches.com/current/index.php/p...tems/product/listing )

What am I doing wrong here? Also, I can only access this page through the menu. If I try to click on the Product Category page ( www.bearstitches.com/current/index.php/products ) it is blank.

You probably have to check associated module for category listing in display/menu items undeer hikashop administration. I've checked page and U have only two products with badges on them. Maybe you didn't assign right category with that menu item

Try to turn off 'Recently viewed' option and 'Random items' option.

Can't say whether I trust you are not...I don't know you, but it's a clients site so I'd rather wait till an Admin posts, see what they have to say.

Hi,

Could you give us a screenshot of the sale items associated module ?
I think that the config problems come from there.

The link to the product category page, display a listing of the categories, so I think that it's correct.

docs.google.com/a/webhelpus.com/file/d/0...aFU3RTlQdWUzdjg/edit

I'm thinking for scrapping all the content modules and content menus and starting from scratch. Problem is I really don't understand how they all fit together and the documentation reads like stereo equipment.

Alright...rebuilt the categories and things seem to be working, but I can't seem to display all the products located in all the subcategories from one category. Any suggestions? Do you still need backend access?

To do that, you can change the option "sub element filter" to "all sub elements" in the associated products listing module of your category listing menu item.
To access it, you can go in the menu Display->Content menus, edit your menu, and click on the associated products listing module options link.

Well, it's starting to work. I now have a link to all my sale items, but....it's displaying stuff at the bottom it shouldn't.

Hi,

You have to remove the module with the id "196" (hikashop id) on the menu "sale-items".
You can do that from the module options or from the menu options. (Joomla options)
