Required custom field only for some Countries

Hi all,

usually i find a lot of information on this forum but this time i've to give up!

Today i tried to create a new custom filed that should be set as "required" only for one country. I used the "Display limited to" preference but it doesn't works properly.
The custom filed will appear only for the selected country (good thing) but there is a problem.
If i choose in my address information a different country (where the custom field is hidden) and try to save my information, the system wont save them, because the required custom filed is empty.
It looks that the "Display limited to" option will only hide the custom field, what i need is to disable it for all countries exept one.

Do you have some suggestions?

Hi iux,

If you want the system to save them you can maybe set a Default value like "no value" or whatever you want for your custom field, then it your custom field won't be empty.
