How to order products newest on top oldest on bot

I have hika 1.6 Business edition

Can't order the products like this :

New products on top of the display.
Old prodoct on bottom of the display.

I' m thinking and order buy product_id would be a good choice, but I need to be order like :
-prodoct with bigest id on top
-product with smalles id on bottom.

And by the way hikashop 2.1.0 works on joomla 2.5 ?

I think that you'll just have to use the "order" option of your product listing, and set it to product_created.

Joomla has cache support activated. I had cleared and purged the cache.

Still the same thing.

Does anybody know how de display of product works ?

What I hate about hika is that are no comments on the code like what does that function, you have to guess.

Then you should maybe change the value of your Ordering direction option through your product listing's configuration screen.

I have the same problem, but regardless of what I try, playing with "Ordering direction" and "Ordering field", nothing in the order changes. Probably I miss something....

Are you sure that you are editing the correct menu ?
Your parameters seems to be correct.

Yes, it worked, for some reason the change was not reflected immediately...
