Assign clickable prices to product variants

Hi,
In Hikashop Business, I have a product with multiple pricing levels. It's a member site, and the price varies by category of member. I'd rather not use the discount system; just show users a radio box or drop-down that lets them them select the correct variant and price. It's a feature on all the big e-commerce stores where I shop. The paint comes in a gallon, half-gallon or quart. I click the size I want and it pops up in the cart. Can you help me setting this up in Hikashop? Could not find any reference to it in the documentation, but maybe I overlooked it.

I think that you should just :

- Create some characteristics and assign them to your products
- Manage your product's variants
- Set different prices regarding your user groups with access levels.

Well if I understand your needs, it's quite simple to setup.
What you have to do is first create the variants you want for a given product. Then click on "manage variant" and click on one of the variant.
You'll be there able to set different price and specify an access level for each price.

Thanks for the quick response. I tried to do this but couldn't get it to work. I will try again. If I add the price to the variant, will that create a checkbox or dropdown that user can click on? Then when the user clicks on the variant price will it go directly into the cart as an order? And can the user then proceed to checkout?

1. Yes, it will create a dropdown per product characteristics
2. Yes, the price will automatically update regarding your product's variant price
3. Sure your customer will be able to proceed to checkout with your product's variants prices.

Can you give me more detail of how did you proceed, and how did you set your product page by showing me screenshots of your product page for example ? .
