Cannot add characteristic 2.1.1 starter

Hi, I hope somebody can help.

I am using starter 2.1.1 in Joomla 3.0.3.

When I select products, characteristics, and press the "ADD" button I get the screen shown in the attached file.

Any ideas where I should start looking?

Have you defined any characteristics in products > characteristics?

I can't see how to get to products>characteristics in Joomla 3. The layout is different to Joomla 2.5.

I dont know how it looks in Joomla 3, but I think it's the same..

I have found the problem, it is when I use the "Isis" template. There does not seem to be any way to get to to the characteristics setting.

When I change to the "Hathor" template I can find the setting.
