Hika Shop Import after 1.5 - 2.5 Joomla upgrade

Hi,

I'm trying to update a new install of hikashop in Joomla 2.5. The previous install is Joomla 1.5 with Hikashop but this was an import from Virtue Mart.

When I try to import the hikashop datbase entries into the new install I get errors due to non existant Virtuemart fields.

"#1054 - Unknown column 'address_vm_order_info_id' in 'field list'"

Any sugesstions on how to get clean import of hikashop data only or is it using VM fields still?

Hi there,

Maybe you can try to export your product (all of them) thanks to the Hikashop export feature and then import them in your new website.
It should automatically create the missing categories and so on, so it's maybe the best solution.
