Reset Download Period Elapsed?

Hi guys,

I have a site which Hikashop Business in on... and it's for a great documentary...

Someone who purchased the documentary download just wrote this:
"Hello! I purchased the documentary less than 2 months ago, but didn't get a chance to download it when I discovered that the file size is huge. Today I finally got a high speed internet, and when I went to download, it says "download period elapsed"!!!! I never saw anywhere that it mentions a time limit for downloading, so please give me the link to download as soon as possible. Thank you!"

I tried resetting the download expired but that only seem to reset the number of downloads and not the Download Period Elapsed issue?

Running Hikashop 2.1.0 and Joomla 2.5.8

Hi there,

Try to change the status of the command to pending, then put it back to confirmed. It may make the download re-available.
If it doesn't work, it guess the best is to create a new order directly in your backend for this client.
By the way, you can set the Download time limit in the main configuration (system>configuration>files).

Thanks for that - sadly that seems like a mis-thought the idea that a potential client might need a reset of there Download Period is not that unthinkable...

I definitely think that should be a feature very soon !
