Virtuemart import from another site

Hi,

I am looking to upgrade a site from Joomla 1.5 and VM 1.1.3, but the original site has become vulnerable due to old components. So I want to start afresh with Joomla 2.5 on a separate (temporary) site, but I would would like to import VM from the original site.

Currently it looks like VM has to be present within the current copy of Joomla?

Can I do this?

Hi,

What you can do is install HikaShop on the old site, import data thanks to our function to import from virtuemart.
Export the data in HikaShop, or export the MySQL hikashop tables.

Install HikaShop on the new site, import the data or import the MySQL tables (hikashop tables) in the new site.
