Hi,

I'm wondering if it is possible to import the linebreaks that you can use in an excel cel ?
For those who do not know what I mean : you can create multiple lines in a single cel in excel by using Alt + Enter.

This is used in a product sheet that I got to create listings (like the <li> code in html)

I hope that someone knows some trick to make this happen and save me a lot of trouble :)

Hi,

Yes, HikaShop's import handle line breaks. There is nothing to do for that.

If you're wondering why you don't see the line breaks in the description of your products even you have them on your excel file, that's because you're forgetting that the description is in HTML, like a joomla article. So line breaks do not display. You need to use <br/> tags for that.

Hi Nicolas,

I did some testing and for all the other people facing the same issue here is what I did :

Openend my .csv file in Notepad++ and did a search and replace for \n and replaced it with <br />
I than imported it as UTF8 and it looks good :)

I hope this can help somebody else.
