how to edit a customer's email

hi,

my customer has placed an order but would like to change the email address that he has registered on his account - i've tried editing it in the customer section but it just says 'error saving' when i try to save the change. is there a way to do this?

Hi,

It can't save because the email address already exist. You can't have two times the same email address.

Thank you for your reply - that has solved my problem.
My customer had registered twice with 2 different email addresses so I just had to delete his old user information 1st.
