During the checkout process, we want to be able to collect the users shipping address, and email, but not created a user.

Currently what is happening, when a customer orders something, then comes back to the store a tries to order something they can't use the same email address.

We have Login set to no, and Registration set to No registration.

Attached is our checkout flow, and registration options

Hi,

I think that you'll probably find your solution there :

If you want to have a checkout without registration but with address, you will have to have both "login" and "address" views in the checkout workflow. Then, in the Checkout tab of the configuration, you can change the option "registration" to "no registration" in order to remove the creation of a user account. Also, you can turn off the "login" option there to remove the login area of the checkout.
That way, you will still have the address form but no user account would be created.
That "Registration" option is only available in our commercial editions.

Hi there,

Thanks for your prompt reply. We have indeed set those options (login is set to no and it is currently no registration) [see screen shots in first post] however when a user attempts to make a second purchase, the email address field turns red and refuses to continue.

I appreciate your time

Hi,

It sounds like a bug of HikaShop 2.1.1 that we fixed in 2.1.2. Can you make sure that you have HikaShop 2.1.2 installed on your website and then try again ?
