limit Category Description length

Hi,
I have a big problem, 8 hours I'm looking for how to set a limit in Category Description length (6-8 words).
Also I want that the Type of item layout Image and description looks the same way like Image and title. 1st image (centered) above title (centered) and then above description limited to 6-8 word.

Hi,

It is not something which could be done with CSS.
You have to use some view overrides in order to change how the category description is displayed (and at this moment we have to know where to determine which view has to be modified).
It would require some PHP skills for the little code to extract the first 6-8 words of the category description.
