Several smaller configuration problems...

I am using Joomla Version 1.7.0 and HikaShop Essential 2.0.0 and have a few (hopefully simple) questions:

• absolutely basic, but I cannot find to solve this: How can I resize the product images? I searched through the forum and found the system-configuration-files settings which I changed; I emptied the thumbnail image folders, but the images are still resized to a smaller image size?!
• Is it possible (how?) to limit the number of products that can be ordered in the HikaShop Essential version?
• Is it possible (how?) to display both address fields as default and remove the checkbox (shipping address is different from billing address)? We want to offer music services for festivities which always take place at another address than the bill should be send to.
• How can the email that is sent to the client be adjusted? I added a custom field which I would like to display in the email as well
• My custom field, which is shown on the address website in the ordering process, should be visible at all the time. At the moment it is not - it is only displayed if the user clicks on the pencil to edit his/her address. How can I change this?
• Is there a possibility to show the total costs one last time right before the client clicks on "pay"?

Hi,

First of all, why not updating the Joomla version to 2.5 and HikaShop to 2.1.2 ?

1. You can change the parameters in the Configuration > File tab. Change the sizes for the image thumbnail. The image managment has changed since 2.0.0
2. To limit click on the "product" menu and then in the toolbar you should see a "limit" button, it allow you to restrict the quantity of products by order.
3. For that you can edit the view "user / address" (require php knowledge) or you can do that via JavaScript.
4. To edit the mail you can go in the menu System > Emails (business edition) or edit in the folder "media/com_hikashop/mail" but the changes will be lost at each update.
5. I think that you need a custom field in the table "order" instead of "address" (business edition)
6. You can display the "cart" in the last step of the checkout.

I updated to the most recent version of Hikashop and also to the business version as it has some features we needed!

Two questions stay open:

1. You can change the parameters in the Configuration > File tab. Change the sizes for the image thumbnail. The image managment has changed since 2.0.0

this only changes the thumbnail/preview pictures in the overview, but not the product "detail" view after you open a product page to read the description ... Where can I change this?

2.) In the checkout step where I show the shipping methods there is a different header in the progress bar than on the page itself (see picture). Where can I change the second one, the title above the different shipping methods? In the language file I don't find this entry, so it must be somewhere else!

1.) No, that's the strange thing! I changed these setting and it only changed the preview pictures in the product overview!

2.) I looked at every single entry in the language file and did not find it. Emptied the cache and tried again. No chance...

Any other idea? Could there be used 2 language files?

I don't want the pictures on the product overview page to be this big
but would like to make the product detail page picture bigger

The language file I am working with is /language/nl-NL/nl-NL.com_hikashop.ini
I can find any word there except for the word which is the title of the shipping page in the checkout process.

Hi,

Thumbnail, is used for the listing, and product page for the image on the product page, you have to change these parameters.
Enable the option "thumbnail".

If it don't change, try to delete all the thumbnails images via ftp, they will be automatically created by HikaShop.

If it still doesn't work, it's maybe a template issue.

Thank you, I think there was indeed a problem with the images in the upload folder!

I deleted the pictures in this folder:
/httpdocs/media/com_hikashop/upload/thumbnail_300x225

and the settings are like this:

The thumbnail preview pictures look perfect now, but the product pictures are just the original pictures - the thumbnails are not created again?!


Also, where can I find the settings for the "Thank you page" after a succesful payment? I am redirected to the shop to the URL:
index.php?option=com_hikashop&ctrl=checkout&task=after_end&order_id=20
and would like to add some text here, but cannot find any options (google + board search did not help either).

• When clicking on the Terms and conditions during the checkout process, it opens a popup that shows the word "Articles" above the article - how can I remove this? (this word definitely can't be found in the Joomla content)
• The custom fields I created (category: order) are displayed below the address, which is great. I would like to replace them a bit as they stick together and are a bit too far left, how / where can I do this?
  
  
  
• When buying a product from the product overview, the user gets a popup (shop further / go to cart). This popup does not appear when the user has the product detail page opened and adds the product to the cart - can I active the popup here as well?
