Script for adding many products.

Hello,

I'm creating shop with ~4000 products (spare parts), where essential things are product code, name, and quantity and Description changes only in different sub-categories.

I know only PHP basics. Is there any way to write a script which generates products for sub-categories?

Everything is possible with some development knowledge, but I think that the best solution would be to import your product through the CSV product import feature .

Hey there, I'm not sure if this will help, but I've created a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet with probably over 70 columns containing every field possible for a particular product. It comes complete with comments if you hover over many of the column headers and even a visual tutorial to demonstrate how to export the file as CSV and import into HikaShop 2.x+.

I know it works because I've used it to import a few hundred products myself. Please let me know if the spreadsheet and YouTube video is helpful; I just created it a hour ago because I hadn't seen anything like it. Thanks!
