PPC Source on Order Page

Hi, I am looking for a bit of direction on incorporating the Google Adwords PPC source on the orders page. (I am guessing it will need to be a custom job, but trying to get my head around the logistics of it.

This is the order display on the order site - note there is a column 'PPC' and that indicates if it is a PPC or not.

Is that possible to add on the Hikashop backend order display?

The Google analytics is working fine,be we wanted to include that information (source) on the backend.

Easy, hard, complex, doable?

Hi,

I don't see any link between the PPCs and orders on your screenshot so I don't know. If you can know the information of adwords during the checkout you could add it to a custom order field and HikaShop would then be able to display it automatically in the orders listing. In that case, a simple plugin would be needed to get the adwords data and add it in the order custom field.
But I don't know if and how you can get that data during the checkout.

Hi Nicolas,

In the fist image there is column titled PPC; that records if the sale was from a PPC Adword or not. (I mentioned source as a progression of that)

Is there a way to access the adwords data (from the adwords account) and bring it into Hikashop, and had a 'lookup' to math the order number of Hikashop and the transaction number of adwords (which match anyway).

Thats what I am thinking but not a programmer.

I don't know of any simple way to do that.
Now potentially anything is possible if you have enough knowledge and resources. For example, you could create a firefox plugin to gather the data on that page and send it to a custom hikashop plugin to match orders and ppc.
But that's definitely not easy.

Thanks Nicolas,

There has to be a relatively easy way as the previous shop did it (top image)..

I will try to find out how they did it and report back.
