Shipping: pickup in-store (take-away)

Hello,

I'm currently looking for a shopping cart solution that can support a take-away business. So basically, the user/customer will have to select when they would like to pick-up their order in-store. Obviously based on current time etc. Does Hikashop support this and/or is there an easy solution?

Hi,

HikaShop business have "order custom fields". It allows you to create new options, new data for the order during the checkout.
You can see some in our demo website :
* Additional information you would like us to know (text)
* Would you like you package delivered on a specific date ? (yes/no)
* Delivery date (date)

By selecting "yes" on the second, the last one (the delivery date) will be displayed.
This custom field ask for the customer to select a future date. This information will be stored in the order and you will be able to see it.
