Characteristic depends from another characteristic

Hi,

I've search in a past post and in a guide, but I don't find a solution.
Is possible use a Characteristic in a product that depends from another Characteristic, example:
I have a t shirt shop, the product have 2 characteristics, Model: (Male, Female) and Size: (XS, S, M, L, XL), the problem is:

The male t shirt il available only in size S,M,L,XL and memale t shirt is available only in size XS, S, M, L, is possible conditioning the size characteristic by selecting Model characteristic ?
If a customer select famale model in a size characteristic it will be loaded only the female size.

use "table mode" to display characteristic is perfect for my application.
