porting configuration

I have two sites I've been upgrading, and we recently put hika shop on the first. It's working well, however there were quite a few changes here to the way particular things worked, etc-

The seccond website uses the same template, is a completely different website as far as content, etc. but has the exact same store (Don't ask me why). How can I export the configuration and everything from the first site to the seccond if I install hikashop? They will be the same version of Joomla, Hikashop, etc, and if I have to transport database tables, what do I need to transport manually? I'd rather not reconfigure the entire thing, also it would help syncronize them the same way.

For HikaShop, you can export/import all the hikashop_ tables via phpmyadmin from the old to the new database and copy the folder media/com_hikashop from the old to the new website via FTP.
That will copy all the HikaShop data and settings except the modules and menus that you created for HikaShop since they are stored in Joomla table. You will have to reconfigure them.

That's fine, modules and menus are no biggie! This process doesn't seem so bad. I'll try it, thanks!
