Checkout button gone

For some reason my checkout button is gone. I'm setting up a quote request for my client and i followed the guide from twhcreations . I have Hikashop Essential 2.1.3

How can such an important button disappear? Must be my fault....but what's the solution?

The cart module. Sorry for not presenting more details..
digiwacht-klanten.nl/pips on the right side, named Winkelwagen.

Maybe it has something to do with the workflow?
I have: Login, Address, Quote details, Status, Fields

Have you edited the view "product / cart" ?

I think that you have made a mistake when editing this file.
Can you try to save it's content in an external file and then delete the modifications (clicking on the dustbin in the views listing), try again.
If it's working so your changes were not correct, so you can do them again without forgetting the "proceed to checkout button"

Before anything, you can too check in the options of your cart module if the "proceed to checkout button" option is enabled.

Your last remark did the trick.
The way its translated into dutch probably got me confused. Proceed to checkout button is translated as Verdergaan-knop. Verdergaan means continue and i asumed it means continue shopping.
I'll override the translation, so for me it will be a bit clearer.
