Hi,

I've got a problem with product thumbnails on my product page. It seems that system doesn't generate thumbnails. You can see it here:
http://swagsack.pl/design/product/42-patrzwork

On the other products it looks fine ( http://swagsack.pl/design/product/39-podreczniak but thumbnails have different size.

Pls help.

Hi,

That's probably because you have change the thumbnail size parameter since the first generation of thumbnails.
Try to save your current thumbnails out of your site, delete them from the site. Then clear the cache, visit back your site webpages, this should generate again the thumbnails in the good size.

I've done that. I've deleted thumbnail folders from the upload folder on my site. I've cleared cache in joomla, cleared cache in my browser and still nothing...

Hi,

It seems indeed that the thumbnails are not generated:
swagsack.pl/media/com_hikashop/upload/th...onking_657087657.jpg

Do you have the folder swagsack.pl/media/com_hikashop/upload/thumbnail_270x340 ?
It could potentially be an access right issue that prevent HikaShop from writing the thumbnails in the folders of thumbnails. Can you check the access rights on these folders via FTP ? If you set them to 777, does ti work better ?
If not, maybe it comes from the configuration of Joomla. For example, if you didn't configure properly the FTP layer options of the joomla configuration HikaShop won't be able to write the thumbnails.

My upload folder is set to 777 right now. Images in upload folder are set to 644, maybe i have to change that on every file previously uploaded to the folder?
It's weird. It was working just fine for a while. Nothing was changed... maybe only password to my ftp connection with server.

And can you make sure that the folder thumbnail_340x340 also has 777 permissions ?

Maybe it comes from the FTP layer options of the joomla configuration. If you change your FTP password and that you activated the FTP layer in the joomla config, you also need to change the password there or HikaShop won't be able to write the thumbnails anymore via the FTP layer of Joomla.

FTP connection is set. Thumbnail folder was set to 755, i've change it to 777. The files inside thumbnail_340x340 are set to 604. Is this correct?

The permissions on the files in that folder do not matter.
Are you sure that the FTP connection information in the joomla configuration is correct ? If you turn it off, does that help ?

We are talking about ftp configuration i joomla global configuration, right? Turning it off didn't help.

We can see the thumbnails on the main page ( http://swagsack.pl/ ) and on the category page ( http://swagsack.pl/design )... only the product page is the problem.

Mmm. I think that I know where it comes from.
Can you remove the customizations that you did on the product page via the bin icon of the views listing (after saving them on your computer) and see if that fixes the problem? I think that it's because you updated from a really old version where the size of the thumbnails were handled a bit differently and since you had overridden the product page view file, you didn't get the modification.
