Enable carousel for Type of content (link..)

Hi!
I enabled carousel to show on the frontpage and here is what I need to do.
I need to click on the category image from the carousel and show the category description on the component position.
I can t get it work.
Type of content is category and images are showing just fine. But If i click on an image a blank content is coming on the component. Here is my config prtscr.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "component", could you be more precise?

its not on the air. But I can tell you that when I say component I need the position where the content is displayed.
Imagine when you see an article. I mean after clicking the carousel picture (which is the hikashop category picture in our case), I need to see the category description. Like an article

Well, this is how the carousel should react. Clicking on a category redirect to a listing of products of this category.
What you have to do is link the module to a menu. Then, in this menu, the "show image" option and the "show description" option have to be enabled.
You will then see image and description plus the product behind it
