Help for a newbie

Hello!

I am a new user of Hikashop, I have the free version.
I have some question for you.
1. I put in Homepage a presentation of products, in two columns, but now I have only the image and the name, there is possible to add a description text to the side of image? An abstract of full description visible in full product view.
2. Can I add custom fields? Example: now I have Width and Height, can I add Color, City, Others.
3. There is possible to set a dimension for image different for some product? Example: now I have thumbnails 100x100, but if I sell a sword I don't need a square image, for optimize the view of product can I set 100x1000?

Hi,

- We don't know how you integrate the products exactly, but if you used a module, you can select the product layout in the hikashop backend (display > content module). So you can choose a layout with a description.

- If you want to add custom fields, you need the business edition of HikaShop.

- There is only a global option. It is planned to improve it but I can't give you any delay for this feature.
But, thanks to view override, you can edit the current "product | show_block_img" view and use different values than the configuration value for some specific products.
It requires some PHP skills.
