Disable default characteristic

Hi there,

is it possible to disable the default characteristic in the dropdown on the product page? The problem I'm having is that the default one may not be in stock but it still loads in and we have a lot of products, this would be a lot easier.

This is currently not possible but we are developing a "mass action" feature which will allow you to change the default characteristic for as mcuh product as you want in one click.
