change the layout of product detail page

one of the options in products is "layout on product page", I've tried the 'tabular' one, but it appears to have have issues loading and layout on occasion, so I've been using default or inherit. How can I add a "new option" that let's me better control the layout experience.

if I stay with inherit or default, how do you turn on/off the social links that show up under Name?
How do you adjust the image, price, add to cart elements layout (ex: to all be on same row)?

Hi,

You can add a new layout by editing the show_default view file via the menu Display->Views and change the name of the view file from "default" to what you want for it before saving it. The new view file will then appear automatically in the "layout on product page" options.

To turn off the social links, simply disable the HikaShop social networks plugin via the joomla plugins manager.

If you want to change the image size, you can do it via the corresponding options in the configuration.
If you want to change the positioning of the elements, you can do it by adding custom CSS in the frontend CSS file of HikaShop in the configuration's CSS area of the Display tab, and/or by moving around the code blocks in the show_default view file or your new view file.
