sort brands

i have a total of 63 brands that i would like to resort so that they are in alphabetical order...

tried changing the numbering in the boxes, but it did not save

is the only way to use the arrows...(that would be a pain!)

Can you tell me where do you exactly want to sort your brands ? .

i have created a filter using brands...can be seen here...www.plumbing-deals.dreamhosters.com...the drop down box on the titled "Shop by Brand"

i would like these to be in alpha order...currently they display in this order both in front and back end.

I think that if you want to change the order of your brand filter dropdown, you'll have to do it through your "Hikashop->Product->Brand" by changing the ORDER value of each brand.
