Mixing presentations of characteristics

I've a set of products with five characteristics; some characteristics have two values (yes/no) and others have more values (e.g. length). The total nummer of product variants is about 60. Unfortunately, not all combinations yield valid products, thus some combinations are removed from the product list.

Now, I'm looking for a way to present this in an easy manner to the visitors of my shop. The table view presentation for products with two characteristics is a neat way of presenting the available and valid product variants. Radio buttons or pull down menues are fine for two valued characteristics.

When I configure the product for more than two characteristics, the presentation wil switch to drop down selector mode. Is there a way to have a mix of presentation, e.g. the first two characterisitcs in a table and the reamining using drop down selectors?

Has anyone an idea how to achieve such a presentation?

Thanks and regards, Paul

Hi Paul,

Showing me what you exactly want to do with some screenshots for example will really help me to understand your problem.

Thanks :).

Dear Mohamed,

Please find a mock-up of the screens attached. The lefthand side is what it looks like today; the righthand side is what I want it to look like.

Best regards, Paul

Hi there,

This is not currently possible with Hikashop.
If you have some php skills, you can try to edit the show_block_characteristic.php view of product in System>View and make it display what you want for these specific characteristics.
If you don't feel confident enough, just ask on the commercial jobs forum :).
