Hey,

I looked for the answers but couldn't find them so here goes.

1) When a user just creates an order but does nothing else, I do NOT want them to get an email BUT I DO want ME to get a email, is this possible? and how?

2) I am using the "address_title" for something else (asking where someone found us).
The result of that is showing up in the emails, for example Google Jon Smith and then I have to remove it.
How do I stop that title section from showing in emails?

3) I want to edit that actual content of emails to customers with my own custom text, especially when I send them a change of status email from confirmed to shipping. I have looked and looked, where do I make this change and save it so everyone is getting the same email? Please tell me exactly, I can not find it!

4) It seems I am not getting correct emails any more! (I used to get them)
I want to get 2! order created, order completed/payment made.
Where can I check why I am suddenly not getting email notifications correctly?

5) I only want the customer to get an emails AFTER they complete and pay for an order. How?

6) When I go to "orders", in a row I see Order number, customer, payment method, date etc.
In the customer area, their email address is shown. I'd like to see their name, not their email, is this possible?

7) When a customer abandons an order after creating it and just leaves the site, is there a way for them to automatically get sent an email after a set amount of time? If so, how?

Sorry for the long list, that should be it.
Thanks so much :)

Hi,

1. & 4. & 5. You can go in the menu System>Emails and disable the order creation notification which is sent when the order is created. And make sure that the order status notification is enabled.

2. You will have to remove the {address_title} tag from the different address_template view files via the menu Display->Views.

3. You can go in the menu System>Emails and edit the emails you want. For the status change email, it is the email 'order status notification' that you want to edit.

6. Anything is possible if you're a developer. You can edit the file 'listing' of the view 'order' for your backend template via the menu Display>Views and modify the code there to display the name instead of the email.

7. You need to use AcyMailing's filtering system and create a filter to send an email when orders are created and not confirmed after X hours:
