checkout and registration

In any hikashop 2013 version, do you have an option where customers can checkout and register at the same time, without having to verify their registration by email prior to completing their checkout? Most websites allow a customer to do this without having to go to their email to checkout, this extra step is a good way to loose potential customer

Sure you can do it but that's a joomla feature, you'll be able to do that by :
- Going to "Control panel->Global configuration->system->'New User Account Activation'"
- Setting it to NONE
