euro symbol showing

Hi
I am testing the free version of the shop and each product i add has a £ value but this is being changed to euro even though it looks like they are turned off. Is this a feature of the free version that is not in the commercial ones or does the euro symbol appear in them all? the site i am going to use a shop on will not be selling in euros so we don't want them displayed as the price.
